So I left KL train station 'KL Sentral' at 1040pm. Couldn't fall asleep until 3am. Reached Singapore at 615am, cleared Woodlands Checkpoint at 620am and immediately got a cab. Called Kevin to wake him up so he can open the gate for me. But what the hell, HE PUT HIS PHONE ON SILENT MODE.
Reached his house at 640am. Doorbell not working. Everyone still sleeping so nobody could hear me calling from outside. I lost the home number.
So what did I do?
Wait outside the gate and wait for someone to wake up and open the gate.
Finally at 805am Kevin was woken up by his alarm clock and saw 131 missed calls.
1 hour and 25 minutes of waiting outside his house.
Class chalet later. I'm gonna fall asleep once I reach there. Not tired because of the waiting, but because I didn't get any good sleep on the train at all.
Couldn't get the sleeping bunk because all bunks were taken, so I bought First Class. Wow. My ass. Still can't sleep comfortably.
Next time, don't take train for intercity travel at all, and never put your phone to silent mode when you're sleeping.

Bald, again
I decided to go bald.
Shaved my head on Boxing Day.
No, it's not for NS coz I'm not Singaporean.
Did it for the heck of it.
It's the 5th time.
If you find it weird, well, get used to it.
Will be back in Singapore soon.
Oh, and MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!!!
I went for midnight mass at St. John's, my church in KL.

Happy times
Here's a video which hurt my heart a lot.
The bloody fella blended a Halo3 DVD!
Next, iPhone
Fucking cool!
Finally,
How the hell does he keep that poker face! Is nice. I like.
Just got back from Mark's house. His dog nicknamed 'Boon Poh' by Yejie is always damn happy to see us, evidently by his incessant, I mean, melodious barking. But as usual in the late afternoon I'd fall asleep. Mark was playing xbox while YJ was playing some PC tennis game, while I was happily in dream land. And so they asked 'why did you choose to come out if you're only gonna fall asleep in the middle of all the fun'.
My past few weeks have been awesome with all the degenerating, slacking, stoning, non-purpose driven life. But I lack a real purpose in the short run and this feeling sucks. Yes I do have things to do in the next few months but for the past few days, it's been nothing. No purpose. Even if I sleep in the whole day there ain't gonna be any consequences for me. I like. It's just a different feeling from the things we've been doing in the past few months.
Anyway, I've been moving back and forth from KL to Singapore. I'm currently in SG staying at Kevin's house since I've moved out of boarding. Next time I'll be back will be for my class chalet which I myself am surprised at myself for actually looking forward to it. And of course I'll be back for Orientation. Planning the OG's "L'onz 1 Year Old Party". I hope it really materialieses. It'll mean a lot to me, having known them for a year and we're still close.
House warming on the 22nd. Then xmas. Was trying to shop for presents today. Was at Popular looking for kiddy/nonsense books as gifts not as a gift itself, but mostly to suan. I'm mean. I did it once to a close friend of mine. I got him a $3 book from a sale. "Idiots guide to Fertility". Unbeknownst to my thoughtful gesture, he pre-ordered Starcraft2 for me. Made me feel horrible I just kept laughing and laughing. It's the thought that counts, right?
Nah, actually I don't have to if I don't want to. You see, I'm a champion at choosing presents. The best present is not getting anything, but actually remembering the special day itself. It's the thought that counts, I say. Therefore as long I have the thought of your birthday, there you have your present. So Dawn and Yihui, both of you said I didn't give you two anything for your birthday 6 months ago, but it's the thought that counts...
... and thanks a lot for the "photo scrapbook, perfume pen, and keychain to help me remember my kampung"!
Okay that all sounded damn mean maybe I should really start to be bothered to look for birthday presents.

One of the dirtiest things in the world
Now now, before you proceed, I know you'd probably be saying 'Yeah right look who's talking' when you read the title.
I think one of the dirtiest things in the world is money. Physically, and metaphorically.
Money is physically damn freaking dirty because of the hands and places it has gotten into contact with. The coins and notes have been in circulation for years, been transferred to so many hands which in turn have touched so many other things. By the time it reaches our hands, we in turn transmit whatever dirty things on our hands onto the money. Then it goes into circulation again and again.
C'mon, don't tell me that your hands are so damn clean and that when you get your money, you actually clean the money before holding it.
Lets illustrate this. The coin/note was just minted/printed, then distrubuted by the Central Bank to the public. One day, this person called FA1 goes to the bank to withdraw money to give as ang pow for Chinese New Year. He puts them into the red packets. Still considerably clean.
Then on CNY he gives it to his nephew FA2 who then uses that money, say $10 to pay for his food at the hawker stall to FA3, the owner of the stall.
The owner of the stall also is his own cook and with his oily and dirty hands, receives the money.
Then comes along FA4 who gives a $50 note and so FA3 gives him the $10 note that FA2 used, and since the note got in contact with FA3's hands, the money is physically dirty.
Then FA4 puts that dirty note into his wallet, and by that, contaminates the other notes in his wallet. In fact, while that $10 note was with FA3, it got into contact with more dirty notes, thus making it uber dirty.
After that, FA4 uses the $10 note and blabla yaddayadda the list goes on and all the notes in circulation becomes dirty.
...of course we never know who may have touched the notes after his/her hands have been who knows where. Right here, I think some of us may have thought of this certain person we know who may contaminate every note in contact. Damn, the notes must be freaking dirty. But that person, FA5, is not the target and purpose of this post at all. Just popped up in my mind. Though of course FA5 may be greatly responsible for contaminating the notes and more, fortunately for FA5, that isn't my contention right now.
Anyway, getting back on track, the worse part of it all is not that the notes themselves are dirty. WE get dirty because of them. Have you ever thought how dirty your wallet/purse is? Damn mine is so damn dirty but there's no way I'm gonna wash my wallet.
The second way money is dirty is by corruption, black market and all that stuff which is all just a conspiracy theory and I have no way to prove it so I shan't blog about it.
For my fellow JC2 students who took chemistry, lets liken the first point to that of Free Radical Substition.
Initiation: Homolytic fission
Clean - Clean -> Dirty + dirty
Propagation:
Dirty + clean -> previously clean but now dirty............................(a)
previously clean but now dirty + clean -> dirty.............................(b)
then, (a),(b),(a),(b)
Termination:
Actually, there's no termination step. Nobody washes their cash.
On the converse, in other ways, you can say that money is probably the coolest thing in the world coz so many great people have come into contact with it. Say for example, Bill Gates came to Singapore and he used cash for his transactions at lunch or dinner (lets just say he didn't use his credit card), and then that note, as dirty as it may be, has a special value to it because Bill Gates himself has touched it. So it's all a matter of perspective.
Next time you hold a note, considering that this country is so damn small, you may have touched a damn dirty note from FA5 (sorry for suaning, but I'm doing this for illustration sake), and that same note may have been in Bill Gates' hands before. Probably that US$10 in the photo was really in Bill Gates' hands before which makes me practically shook hands with the man himself! Cool!!!
How dirty is it, you decide.
Actually, if you find it too dirty, you can always give it to me.
PROM
It was amazing. Not coz of the food, but coz of everything thing else. Photos, talking cock etc.
Party 1: Prom itself. Had a delightful surprise by Yihui and Dawn who came to take photos with Huihui and I. Took hell lotsa photos with people. Dance King and KY were damn good. Dance Queens not bad. And all the gals looked damn hot.
Party 2: Talk cock at bars. Just brainless talk. Alvin and Alex supposed to join us but the pangseh us for class to watch movie. So Lincoln and I stoned with the Councillors. Spent a lot of money on drinks. I didn't take anything alcoholic coz I needa be sober for the next party.
Party 3: LAN from 430 to 730am at Cyberdome. 8 of us. Uther's party, Battlefirld 2, and mindless Counter Strike.
When I went back to boarding around 9am plus, I took a short nap before going out for lunch with my family. Had a dream that I was still playing BF2. There was this instance when Lincoln, Kenneth, and Alvin were hunting me down coz I was sniping everyone down. Kena chase like crazy it was so damn intense and eventually they took me down. It was damn gooooood.
Me: [kills a bot]
Kenneth: Sniper around here!
Me: [kills Alvin]
Alvin: oh shit I died!
Lincoln: Paul is hiding behind the sand bags!
Me: [ran away]
Lincoln: I'm chasing Paul!
Me: [relocate]
Kenneth: I saw Paul!
Me: [kills Kenneth!]
Lincoln: where is he?
Me: [kills Lincoln]
Alvin: I found him!
Me: [got gunned down]
Then, respawned, and went head hunting again.
You know, I would've died long ago if they didn't shout all their whereabouts.
Played like crazy and kept screaming and shouting until after that, all of us had sore throat.
It was a really good day.

Adult fare
My student concession card had some problem in the midst of A Levels but I was lazy to go replace my EZ Link card. Anyway my student concession will expire at the end of this year so might as well just use my mum's EZ Link card. Saves the hassle of replacing my spoilt card. But the blerdy fare is damn expensive now. Shithead it costs 60 plus cents to take three stops to Lincoln's place, 1 dollar plus to go to town, and accumulated with all the travel in a day, it's damn a lot. Previously it was only around 40cents. Damnit cost of living is high. Now MOE not giving me anymore allowance coz I've come to the end of my scholarship term (whoa, 6 years already!!!) and I don't wanna ask so much from my mum too. So, just save money lor...
You can make a contribution to the Help Paul Fund by donating a meager $50 which can bring me a long way. $50 only. It can't buy much here anyway. Lets see, $10 goes to 3-5 days of travel, $20 goes to food, $20 goes to entertainment. Not enough, coz what about supper, more entertainment, and gifts, not forgetting prom.
I need money and I need YOU to give me money.
Anyway, I've been having nightmares. Yeah, nightmares about A Levels. I still feel that I'm in the midst of A Levels. When I wake up, I'd ask myself 'What time is my paper?'. Check the clock and realise its 1030am, and go 'Whatuf! My paper started at 8! Fuck!'. But luckily it was over 2 weeks ago. In another incident, I was at home and my parents woke me up and asked whether I have anything important in school (You know I do dream that my family is here with me in Singapore) and I'd say there's nothing important and I wanna ponteng. Then later in the afternoon I would realise that I have an afternoon paper and I missed it. It's damn scary... But it's all over so fuck it.
On a lighter note, I've been having really great dreams about Halo3, not playing it, but being in it. With all the Marines and Elites helping me fight the Covenant. Nice. I like. Real combat always beats xbox360 simulations and that's why the Singaporean dudes have it better.
I've recently discovered the lamenesss of Facebook. Finally created an account and got a lot of the lame vampire, slayer, werewolf crap thingy. Anyhow went around biting/attacking people without knowing what the hell it's all about so I got several defeats already.
I can't wait to get Unreal Tournamet 3 for the xbox360.
